Nivea Mean Replenishing Post Shave Balm (Original) is an absolute bomb! This is one of my favorite face primers that I ever bought. 

If you ever watch beauty video on Youtube, you probably heard how some beauty guru on Youtube rave about the "shave balm, sensitive skin version".

Yes, shave balm. What the heck right?

I was skeptical at first, especially when you only can get the "original" as to "for sensitive skin".

Honestly speaking, I only own the original so I could do a comparison. Anyhow, I used this "original" version and fell in love. The main reasons are PRICE and FINISH it give to my skin! 😍

Personal Experience:-

1. Super cheap for the amount that you get!
2. Hydrating without looking greasy.
3. Make you skin super duper soft!
4. Foundation just glides on the skin and make blending a lot easier.
5. Never broke me out with my combination skin type.
6. I skip moisturizer when I used this, then straight to foundation.
7. Foundation becomes flawless and its does not crease easily.
8. Prolong the wear of foundation.
9. It reduces the dehydration patches on my skin.
10. Works great as a post shave balm for men too!

My Skin Type: COMBINATION BUT SLIGHTLY DRY 

Texture & Scent:-

1. Slightly thick yet watery cream.
2. Men cologne scent.

Pros:-

1. Cheap!
2. Light but hydrating.
3. Absorb very fast.
4. Very soothing on the skin.
5. Does not feel greasy.
6. 2 in 1 product (Face primer and post shave balm) 😀
7. Foundation wear a lot longer.
8. Great at reducing dry patches on the skin (with foundation)

Cons:-

1. The cologne scent can be a little strong.
2. The jar is rather inconvenient to use.

Personal Opinion: 

People with oily skin can skip moisturizer if used with face foundation. Try not to over apply the "shave balm" as it will get too hydrating. I normally used about a pea size amount. (depends on how much your skin needs it)

Personal Experience:-

1. This is a great and cheap basic cleanser that won't break the bank.
2. The cleanser lather so well and you only need a pea size amount for the entire face.
3. It does not dry up my combination skin.
4. The best thing, it does not break me out at all!
5. I've used so many drugstore cleansers. But only this particular one works on my skin.
6. Works well on me (Combination/Dry) and my sister (Oily/Combination)
7. The best part, this cleanser is darn cheap! (Depends on their promotional sales)
8. I've bought more than a dozen of this when it's on sales! 
9. One of the best and affordable cleanser in JAPAN.
10. The only complaint I have is it will not work as a make-up remover!
11. So for those lazy asses 😜out there, sorry, you still need to use a make-up remover and double cleanse.

1. Thick and creamy
2. Once lather up, the foam is dense and soft! (Almost like a mochi/rice cake)
3. Fresh and light floral scent.

Pros:-

2. Does not dry out my skin
3. Very easy to lather
4. Gentle to the skin
5. Does not break me out
6. Super affordable!

Cons:-

1. Cannot be used as make-up remover

Personal Opinion:

I personally think it works for all skin type. It really depends on what you used to. Some people I encounter told me it does not work for them, either it's too hydrating or too dry. But hey, it's darn cheap and if you wanted to try a basic cleanser, you definitely can test this one out without breaking the bank!

1. A thick grainy paste (Look like manuka honey but grittier)
2. Once rub into the skin, it turns slippery on the skin, almost like honey but smoother
3. Sweet yet earthy scent (Not overpowering) 

Pros:-

1. Does the job of exfoliating 
2. Very hydrating but does not feel greasy
3. Improve skin texture
4. Scent is soft and pleasant
5. Once rub in, feel really smooth on the skin
6. Very affordable for its worth

1. A little gritty if used on its own (without dampening skin)
2. Packing is not hygienic

Personal Experience:

1. It works really well as an exfoliator!
2. It does not have intense, rough gritty feeling. (tolerable)
3. My skin feels a lot smoother and certain acne scars on my face fade a little.
4. Very hydrating but doest not feel heavy.
5. It almost feels like putting honey your face but less sticky.
6. Does not break me out or irritate my skin
7. It smells like sweet paradise! 

Personal Opinion:

I do feel every skin type can use this mask. You can make it less gritty (smoother) by adding water or watery face lotion. You can feel your skin smoother in your first used. If you love that feeling of exfoliation, this is one is definitely a steal. Those that prefer gentle exfoliation ( non-gritty), probably won't like it.

Personal Experience:

1. I normally use it on my face.
2. My emergency oil if I have a super flaky and dehydrated skin.
3. Improve the appearance of my scar in a week. (mild scars)
4. Skin texture becomes incredibly smooth and supple. (almost dewy, not oily)
5. I personally use it at night rather than daytime due to my combination skin and the humidity level of where I live.
6. My absolute favorite oil to mix with thick liquid foundation to achieve a skin light finish look.
7. I sometimes mix it with face moisturizer or eye cream to lock moisture.
8. This is my 3rd bottle and the best part you only need to use the tiniest amount on the face.

Personal Opinion:

If you have oily skin, you might not like it. I recommend people with oily skin to use only at night or use it as a spot treatment on your scars.

PROS:

1. Prevent pimples from forming. (It Works!)
2. Pimple marks fade over time.
3. Able to slightly control oil.( Not worth it to apply all over the face due to the size of product)
4. Does not sting even on freshly squeezed pimples.
5. CHEAP!

CONS:

1. Does not smell pleasant.
2. Sting the eyes if you accidentally rub your eyes with the finger you use to apply acne cream on.
3. Not hygienic for an acne cream due to packaging.
4. Takes a longer time to work on acne with head

Personal Experience:

1. I personally use it to treat my minor pimple formation. 
2. It is really effective if your acne is not yet "cook". 
3. Prevent the acne from "Erupting".
4. Helps a lot in soothing the redness around the pimples and calm it down.
5. It takes longer time for a pimple to heal if it already has a head.
6. Not a fan of the scent but tolerable.
7. Best of all its super cheap! 
8. Can sometimes get it cheaper at Beauty Expo or during their promotion sale.

Personal Opinion:

It works better with minor acne, not for severe acne.
